Through an organized program the Social Service Department focuses on the promotion of health and prevention of emotional and physical illness by providing education, counseling, crisis intervention, coordination and referral to community resources and supportive services.

Crisis Intervention

• Collaboration with mental health services &/or law enforcement
• Facilitate stabilization
• Refer to appropriate therapeutic psycho-educational group

Counseling

• Mental health issues
• Chronic disease education
• Solution-oriented brief therapy

Pregnancy Testing

• Options counseling

Home Visits

• Assess high risk prenatal clients & infants
• Reported suspected abuse or neglect
