Flint Hills Community Health Center provides health care for the whole family! We are a federally qualified health center (FQHC),  meaning we accept everyone - patients with Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance (like Blue Cross Blue Shield, United, Cigna, etc.), or no insurance - and have a sliding-fee scale. 
This health center is a Health Center Program grantee under 42 U.S.C. 254b, and a deemed Public Health Service employee under 42 U.S.C. 233(g)-(n).

Primary Care Clinic Primary care is the first health care you receive from a doctor, nurse practitioner or nurse. He or she will consult with you and meet your needs, and if necessary, will coordinate further care with a specialist. Click here to learn more about primary care. Our providers will handle treatment of minor injuries; lab and diagnostic testing; and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses. For children, we offer the following services:   sports physicals school or camp physicals KAN Be Healthy (KBH) screens routine well child examinations For adults, we handle: work physicals yearly physicals pap tests Click here for information about our Public Health services, like immunizations, STD testing, etc. Medical Home Flint Hills Community Health Center is a Level II Patient- Centered Medical Home, meaning the focus is on you and your family in your care and disease management. We help form a team that includes you, your family, your primary care provider, nurses, other specialists, dietitians, behavioral health specialists, your case manager and your community health workers. We help you reach your goals by improving communication with the team; help you manage your off-site referrals and appointments; and more! A medical home is: Continuous: You regularly see the same care providers. Comprehensive: You receive the majority of your health care services here. Coordinated: The team helps coordinate all your care and medical records. Compassionate: Your well-being is the highest priority.
